New - Digital Engineering (DE) Measurement Framework

Developed and published by members of Practical Software and Systems Measurement (PSM), the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), the Systems Engineering Research Center, Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), and the Department of Defense Research and Engineering, this paper provides a measurement framework to help enterprises transition from traditional document and artifact-based development to a digital model-based future and assess the measurable impacts and benefits they aspire to achieve.

Continuous Iterative Development (Agile) Measurement Framework
Updated 15 April 2021

Developed and published by members of Practical Software and Systems Measurement (PSM), the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), this paper provides recommendations for the measurement of continuous iterative developments (CID).  It includes a series of diagrams and an ontology to describe the development approaches and terminology used.
