- There will be three workshops on mapping, all three are ˝ Day Workshops
- 1st Workshop: Mapping of Measurement Standards to PSM and
Models
- Facilitators: Guy Mercurio and Pascal Rabbath
- Objective: Review and finish the current mapping of international
standards for measurement mapping - ISO/IEC 15939 to PSM v4.0b to PSM
“The Book” to CMMI
|

|
- 2nd Workshop: Mapping of Systems Engineering Standards and
Models for Measurement
- Facilitator: Gary Roedler
- Objective: Extend the mappings to measurement segments of ISO/IEC 15288
and IEEE Systems Engineering Standards
|
5
|
- 3rd Workshop: Mapping of Software Standards to PSM and
Models
- Facilitator: Paul Croll and Perry DeWeese
- Objective: Extend the mappings to measurement segments of ISO/IEC 12207
and IEEE Software Standards
|

|
- When complete, mapping will show linkage of these standards and models
related to measurement. This will
be very valuable to the measurement community.
|
7
|
- Why is Mapping Needed?
- With the use of various standards to guide the descriptions of
practices, mapping will provide a more clear picture of how all these
products are related in the area of measurement
- Provides conformance with various standards
|
8
|
- Those interested in measurement mapping to ISO documents, publications
& models
- Good familiarity with ISO/IEC 15939 / 15288 / 12207, and PSM work
products
- Knowledge about measurement needs and how various ISO documents and
models relate to each other
