The 16th Annual Practical Software and Systems Measurement (PSM) User’s Group Meetings and Workshops were held 30 July – 3 August, in Portsmouth, VA. The theme this year was “Using Measurement to make Hard Choices in a Constrained Environment”. Presentation and workshop topics included: measurement of affordability, technical debt, identifying and quantifying cost relationships for software maintenance in DoD, containing the cost of software maintenance, system architecture, and other emerging technologies and trends. Additionally, presentations addressed how to measure performance, risk, and cost impacts.

The annual Users’ Group includes keynote presentations, user experience presentations, training, and workshops that explore new measurement topics. The agenda and additional information are available below.
